John Wheeler is the Director of Product Development and Marketing at Spinal Restoration. John was formerly the director of U.S. Knee Marketing at Zimmer, Inc. where he led a team responsible for the $850
million artificial knee franchise.
Mr. Wheeler has more than 15 years experience in the orthopaedic industry and has held a variety of management positions in marketing, engineering and business development.
John has enjoyed a successful and diverse career. He has been assigned several patents involving orthopaedic designs and enjoys working with physicians to help provide better patient care. Additionally, John has a passion for strategy development and implementation with a focus on marketing aspects. John has brought numerous medical products to market and was directly responsible for pioneering a direct-to-patient marketing and publicity campaign that reached over 17 million television viewers in a 3 month period.
John Wheeler holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Texas A&M University (Magna Cum Laude) and an M.B.A. from Baylor University.
