Spinal Restoration, Inc. was formed to identify and develop new, early intervention, minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of chronic back pain. The first endeavor is the Biostat^® Disc Augmentation System, a proprietary resorbable biologic compound and delivery system, for the treatment of chronic disc pain. The new treatment specifically targets disc pain which accounts for 40% of the 10 to 15 million patients that suffer from chronic low back pain annually. Spinal Restoration conservatively estimates the value of this market to be in excess of $2 billion annually.
